D.Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune is one of the leading Engineering colleges in the state of Maharashtra situated in the city of Pune. It was established in 1984 and it is approved by AICTE, Govt of Maharashtra and is an affiliated member of Savitribai Phule Pune University. The D. Y. Patil College of Engineering Pune has a functional placement cell that helps students to arrange their internships as well as the final placements. The college has produced employment for some of the biggest corporate employers such as Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro Technologies, Infosys Technologies, Cognizant, Accenture and Capgemini among others. The maximum salary package given in the placement drive of 2023 was 43.33 LPA for the company American Express. The highest salary package offered was up to 8 LPA across all branches while the average salary package offered was roughly in between 6-8 LPA. More than 500 students got placed in the campus interviews conducted in the year 2022-23 and the overall percentage of placements was higher than 85% thereby achieving its goal.
