The Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, also referred to as DSCE, is a privately owned engineering based in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was set up in the year 1979, and it is associated with VTU and recognized by the AICTE. This institution has been accredited by NAAC where it was given an ‘A’ grade and has achieved a CGPA of 3.31 out of 4. In the year 2023 NIRF ranking for engineering colleges, DSCE was placed in rank 63 that makes it one among the best private engineering colleges in India.
DSCE provides Under Graduate programmes in various disciplines of engineering among them is Computer Science Engineering, Information Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Robotics & Automation. End semester examination are usually held in the months of December and May of the particular calendar year. Admission to B.E/B.Tech programmes is through KCET and COMEDK exams, while CSE and ISE programmes is through COMEDK exam only. Interviews will begin soon after the results of the examination are out and applications for 2024 academic year admission will commence. 1. For all the BTech programs, the candidates applying should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Physics, Chemistry & Biology with more than 50% marks for general category students and 45% for SC/ST category students.
2. For the MTech programs, the candidates should have passed the BTech/BE examination in the relevant branch with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or 45% for SC/ST students from a recognized university.
3. For MCA program the candidates should have passed the Bachelor of Computer Application/ Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/ Bachelor of Science in Information Technology/ Bachelor of Science in Electronics with mathematics at 10+2 level or any other examinations recognized by the university as equivalent thereto with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).
4. For MBA program, candidate should have done their bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST) from any university recognized by the university Grants Commission.
5. The additional information to be possessed by candidates includes: Valid GATE/GPAT score card for direct admission to M.Tech/MCA lateral entry.
