NGU Imphal is a University situated in Imphal, Manipur offering multiple courses in different fields of study at the under graduate and post graduate level. National Games University or NGU Imphal is a university that provides admission to several courses in undergraduate and postgraduate levels that are associated with sports and physical education. NGU Imphal is a private university in Imphal established to provide quality education in numerous disciplines by offering undergraduate programs. The requirements for being considered for a particular department may differ. For B. Tech courses like Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects and must have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks. Most of the medical and dental courses such as MBBS and BDS demand candidate to have completed 10+2 and must have obtained 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, Mathematics, and English. Science courses at BSc level such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology etc require the candidate to have passed 10+2 in science stream with minimum 45% of marks obtained in aggregate. For admission to the BA and BCom programs, candidate must have passed their 10+2 exams in any stream including arts, commerce or science with minimum pass percentage. Other accepted qualifying exams are CBSE, ICSE or any state board recognized examination.
The university provides numerous UG courses in the arenas of Engineering & Technology, Medical & Health Sciences, Sciences, Arts and Commerce. Some of these include the BTech, MBBS, BDS, BSc, BA and BCom among other undergraduate programs that are offered in various institutions.
