Sister Nivedita University (SNU) is a university of the new generation that is situated in New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal. SNU was started in the year 2015, which is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by NAAC with B++ grade. In the recently released NIRF rankings for the year 2023, SNU has been ranked at 65 in universities in India.
It comprises undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in various fields of study, including Engineering, Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, Management, Education and many others. Some of the popular course offered in SNU include: Btech in Computer Science, MBA, MA in English, MSc in Physics, and PhD programmes. It means that the admission for the batch of 2024 will begin in the month of May in the year 2023. The entrance exams shall be between July and August 2023 while the new academic year will be in August 2024. Other releant dates, requirements and entry procedures for examinations will be announced on the university website.
