SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) Delhi NCR Campus is situated in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh, India. In terms of courses, it provides several undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of Engineering, Management, Science & Humanities, Medical & Health Sciences, and Law.
B.Tech Specializations are available for admission through JEE Main, JEE Advanced, UPSEE, SRMJEEE scores in SRM Ghaziabad. Candidates seeking admission in BBA have to qualify UPSEE, SAT or SRMJEEE for admission. For the MBA program, the institutes accept CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT scores, however, group discussion and personal interview is also taken into consideration. For B.Sc. For admission to the programs in Basic Sciences, the applicant must score an average of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, in the Boards of 12th Standard. The MD/MS programs under Medical & Health Sciences for the admissions in the NEET PG exam score is considered valid. Like CLAT UG, CLAT PG is also accepted for admission into integrated BA LLB (Hons) for five years and LLB for three years under the School of Law.
1. Applicants must have passed the Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology or an equivalent qualification with least 55% marks or CGPA equivalent.
2. Those who are in the final semester/year of the prescribed qualifying examination can also apply for the examination, however their admission will be subject to fulfillment of the above eligibility conditions at the time of declaration of result for the examination.
3. In particular, preference is given to persons having valid GATE/NET qualification or such other tests which are considered equivalent to GATE/NET qualifying tests conducted at National level.
4. Students are encouraged to join the Ph.D program after they sit for a written examination and an interview which are organized by SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus.
5. Each one of the shortlisted candidates is required to give a two- to three-minute introduction of their proposed research interest/area to the members of the selection committee.
6. I also came to learn that the finality of the selection is based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in his or her academic achievements, written test, interview, experience and research potential and finally the number of vacancies available.
7. As for the selected Ph.D candidates, they have to undergo certain compulsory course work as recommended by the Institute before they are allowed to embark on their research.
8. Students who are selected to join the program are required to work under the supervision and direction of the faculty of SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus Ghaziabad.
1. Scan through the University website or the prospectus for the set requirements when applying for Ph.D. Common admission requirements may include: Ability to complete a master’s degree in the relevant field with the minimum passing percentage.
2. Approach any faculty member at SRMIST Delhi NCR Campus and talk to him or her to guide you for the Ph.D and share your research interests. Obtain permission to supervise your research from them.
3. Duly fill the Ph.D application form when ever they are out on the university website. Submit it slowly and gradually and ensure that you put all the necessary educational background details, your research interest area, the name of the guide etc.
4. Enclose photocopies of all documents that are mandate for Ph.D application form such as the photo identity proof, mark sheets, certificates, experience certificate, any published papers etc.
5. Enclose passport size photograph, mark list, experience certificate if any and submit the Ph.D application form along with processing/application fees, if any, before the last date at the designated department/center.
6. To attend the entrance examination/interview round for Ph.D the students need to appear for SRMIST exam at Delhi NCR campus.
7. This is announced and checked usually after the results have been released. Pay admission fees and get enrolled in the program and get registered.
1. Qualifying Exam: They must be 10+2 or equivalent passed from any recognized board for the posts of the candidates.
2. Minimum Marks: The candidate should have passed the 10 + 2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
3. Entrance Exams: Applicants should have a valid score of JEE Main / SAT or SRMJEEE. Having competed in these exams the candidate is offered admission based on their rank.
4. Selection Process: Selection is done on the basis of the 10+2 PCM aggregate percentage, entrance test, SRM counseling result. The last batch of admission will be determine based on availability of spaces.
5. Lateral Entry: For lateral entry into the B.Tech programs, the students who have diploma can join directly to the second year of the programs based on the percentage of marks they secured in diploma.
1. The application form can be downloaded from the official website of SRMIST Delhi NCR admission or the application form can be availed from the campus directly. This can also be done on the university’s website through the online application form.
2. Complete the application form with all necessary information including personal details, academic achievements, communication details, etc.
3. Scan and upload the photograph, signature, copies of 10th and 12th mark sheets, etc., which are necessary as per the guidelines given.
4. Pay the application fee either online through net banking through debit card/ credit card or through demand draft.
5. Forward the hard-copy of the duly filled application form along with documents and proof of the application fee paid.
6. In case of online application submission, it is advisable to take a print out of the submitted online application form.
7. A physical admit card will be received at the registered contact details after the application is accepted.
8. Take SRMJEEE (SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam) on the scheduled examination day.
9. See result once declaration and be present in counselling session for the purpose of seat allocation and admission.
10. The admission processes are to ensure that all formalities in the admission process are finalized including presentation of documents and payment of admission fees.
