The Symbiosis International University Hyderabad has many Undergraduate and Post Graduate programs in the discipline of Management, Law, Engineering & Computer Studies, Health & Allied Sciences, Media & Communication, Economics & Liberal Arts among others. Some of the courses and requirements include, Institute of Business Management: MBA (CAT/XAT/ GMAT Scores) minimum 50 % in bachelor’s degree. However, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and qualifications such as proficiency in music, arts, drama, sciences, IT, computer studies, and languages can be done through SIE entrance exam after meeting the minimum requirement of 55% pass in graduation from a recognized university.
Symbiosis Institute of Technology provides B.Tech programs in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & communication, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering with the duration of 4 years which takes student’s score of national or state level entrance examination like JEE Mains/MHT CET/OUMAT/SRMJEEE Other courses includes MA, MSc, MBA, LLM, integrated programs, diploma courses for which the eligibility differs each. The process for admission includes applying online, uploading documents, written test if required and Personal Interaction & Writing Admission Test before finally making admission through merit list.
1. Students who are interested in SIU can find the application form and admission process information on the official website www.siu.edu.in through ‘Admissions’.
2. The process begins by signing up with your email address, mobile number, and other personal information. This is to note that an OTP will be sent to the user in order to complete the process of registration.
3. Visit the official website, enter your login details and complete the online application form by entering all the details as required including your academic details, personal and or contact details.
4. Scanned photograph, signature, grade/mark sheets etc., including ID proof as per the specifications to be uploaded.
5. Submit the fee for the application online through the use of a credit card, debit card, or through any other online payment methods accepted in the portal.
6. The person can try to download the offline application form from the university office by paying an amount as a fee. Complete the form and provide some more documents at the office.
Documents Required for Admission in SIUH Hyderabad for Different Courses:
1. Online application - There is an on-line application form available on the official website of the university to fill in the details like personal information, marks details, entrance test scores.
2. National/University level test – Sit for any national level undergraduate test, postgraduate test or as per the course desirable, such as NEET-UG, NEET-PG.
3. Merit list – After the entrance exam University prepares list of candidate’s who are qualified for counselling process as per their entrance exam ranking.
4. University Counselling – Attend counselling at the university as scheduled with regards to document verification. Choosing the course and college should be depending on merit, preferences and availability of the course.
5. Admission & payment – Once you get an allotment, then take admission through online/offline mode by paying the admission fee and academic fee.
6. Joining & commencement - It is required to download and get a print out of the allotment letter. Attend the specifically designated college on the specified date and as mentioned in the letter.
1. Apply online or by post with some necessary documents such as marks sheets of graduation, entrance test scores etc.
2. Sit for group discussion and personal interview exams if you are selected for the position.
3. After sometimes the merit list is published so they can check and see if they have been selected.
4. Pay registration fees and present physically to the institution to sign various documents to affirm admission.
5. Be present for the induction programme and process of completing the necessary paperwork for enrollment.
6. Start teaching the MBA students as per the calendar for the 2-year full-time program.
1. Go to the official website of SIUHD by typing siuh.edu.in on the address bar and then navigate to the ‘Admissions’ tab for finding the application form for MBA.
2. As per the instructions given must upload scanned copies of documents such as graduation marks sheets, entrance test score, ID proof.
3. Online payment of the application fee can be made through Net Banking / Debit Card / Credit Card. This process will create an application number.
4. It is wise to keep a printed copy of the completed application form and signed declaration for future use.
5. For selection, show up for group discussion and personal interview session if called for on the date and time provided.
6. Visit the official website and use the application number to track the admission status and, if admitted, proceed to pay the required fees.
1. Applicants must have cleared the SSC Higher Secondary School Certificate or A Levels with at least 50% marks or 50% score.
2. The candidate should have passed in Higher Secondary level certification with at least 50% marks in English, Mathematics, Accounts/Commerce/ Economics and any one optional subject and also passed in tenth standard exam in Tamil/ English.
3. Candidates, who made the list in the academic record, will be invited to take a written test that includes mathematical, analytical, and language abilities.
4. Candidates who have passed the written test will be interviewed by the admission committee in order to assess their communication skills, and their interest in the subjects and confidence to pursue.
5. Academic performance, written test score and the performance in the interview will form the basis for the final selection as marked.
6. List of the selected candidates shall be made available through email and uploaded on the Institute Website; Candidates are required to remit the fee within the prescribed timeline to secure the admission.
