Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, shortly known as TMV, is also a private deemed university in the state of Maharashtra, in India, at Pune city. TMV was established in the year 1921, it has got UGC recognition and NAAC has accredited the institution with B++ grade. In the NIRF rankings 2023 for Indian universities, TMV is placed at 151st. Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)
1. Bachelors of Arts (BA) – Qualification – 10 + 2 in any field from a recognized board for a minimum of 50 percentage of marks. It should be noted however that some programs within the BA honors may have other entry requirements.
2. Bachelors of Science (BSc) – Candidates must have completed their 12th from a recognized board and must have had Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as their main subjects And must have secured minimum 50% aggregate in all the three subjects. However, some BSc honors programs have extra subjects set as a precondition for admission.
3. Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) – Minimum percentage required for 12th standard marks in any stream from a recognized board / university is 50%. There may be other conditions for BCom professional courses as well depending on the college or university.
4. Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) – Applicants must have completed their 12th STD in any discipline from recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. There could be certain other specific norms that every BBA specialization may have as per the university norms.
5. Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) - Candidates could be the 12th standard passed from any recognized university or board with minimum 50% marks aggregate with mathematics as one of the subjects.
6. Masters Programs – As a basic requirement in masters programs, the candidates must have completed the relevant bachelors degree in the same or related field with the masters program from a recognized university and have the required percentage of marks with them. For some masters specializations, further selection standards may be in force.
