CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is one of the national level entrance exams that are for bachelor's and master's programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities of India. The exam is conducted annually and covers fields such as English, general knowledge, legal and ethical environment, logical reasoning and quantitative techniques.
The CLAT test is one of the most challenging entrance exams in India and more than 59,999 students contend in it annually for a limited number of seats approximately 3000. The paper is objective type, multiple choice questions and offline mode, asked for 159-200 questions of 1 mark each. However, the incorrect answer will be penalized with the amount of 0.25 marks reduction.
The cut-off for securing admission in these NLUs has always been high. It usually ranges between 66% and 80% and above for the general merit category students. In course of time, the CLAT has become one of the most zeal competitions of India.

1. Scrutiny - Please go to the web address of The Common Law Admission Test (www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in) and then click on the registration link. The account creation happens through the provision of details such as name, email ID, and mobile number and many others.
2. Login and get started - Use the credentials you registered to log in. Just the application form of CLAT and enter your personal information including qualification, center choices and other related information.
3. Upload Files - Upload your passport photographs, signature, 10th and 12th mark sheets, category certificate (if any) and so on according to the mentioned specifications.
4. Pay Application Fee - Click here for the CLAT 2024 application fee payment online with all major acceptance of any online transaction using your credit/debit card, net banking or UPI. Check the section with fee details on the website.
5. Review and submit –Please double-check and then submit the application form because the CLAT 2024 application form is important. The submitted application can't be changed after submission.
6. Documents - Get your documents by downloading and saving a page with your application number. By doing this I also address the potential to further my knowledge on the subject.
1. The first class certificate/birth certificate - As is the birth date bearer certificate.
2. 12th Class Marksheet - To show I'm eligible based I passed my 12th exam. 12th pass/appearing is mandatory.
3. SC/ST Certificate - for those categories applicants who are reserved
4. Persons with Disabilities (PwD) Certificate - For candidate seeking PwD category
5. A Domiciliary Certificate- Finds its use in some situations to indicate the state of residence.
6. Recycle Your Text: – To be submitted along with the application form.
7. Signature - Paper copies of the signed scanned signature should be submitted too.
8. Valid Email ID & Mobile Number: For registration and future communication - For account registration and further communication.
9. Online Payment/ Net Banking Card/ Credits - To conduct the online payment of the application fees.
