CUET is the Common University Entrance Test with the aim to grant admission into central universities of India for the candidates who clear the national-level examination. The CUET was made public by the UGC in 2024, this having the function of creating a general eligibility test to standardize admission procedures to undergraduate programs.
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is a nationwide computer-based examination which examines a student's ability in three chosen fields- vocabulary, core subjects and general awareness. The students can choose the courses with the demands of their universities and colleges in mind as well as their higher educational and professional goals. Since the test is available in 13 languages. In 2022, CUET (the Central Universities online entrance examination) received applications from about 11 lakhs of students in its first-ever edition.

1. Application & Enrollment Information
- CUET application form for 2024 is likely to appear on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in in January 2024, with its exact date to be previewed later.
- For that, you first need to create your account by filling in some personal information such as your name, contact details, etc.
- Thus, the next step is to wrap up the application form and to apply for your desired programs/universities.
2. Documents & Images
- Preserve the e-sign version of your photo as per the format mentioned in NTA. Additionally, do not forget to submit a picture of your signature simultaneously.
- Besides your class 10 and 12 marks and certificates, if such documents are there, then keep them also ready.
3. Exam City
- While filling up the application, be sure to choose your most preferred city as the exam centre. Choose the cities, which will ideally suit you and your personality.
4. Application Fee
- Application fee for CUET 2024 will be made available at the same time where the form is accessible. The amount is payable online using any of the following methods: credit card or debit card, UPI transfer, net banking, etc.
- 10th mark sheet and passing certificate - They are both used for checking the authenticity of date of birth.
- 12th mark sheet, and passing certificate (if passed) - Confirm your eligibility.
- Aadhar card/voter ID/Passport/other valid identity proof - The principal purpose is for the verification of identity. Transferring the images of the ID proof will probably need to be done digitally.
- Scan the photograph and the signature - the dimensions etc. should be met as specified in the information brochure.
- Address proof - Apart from having them for verification if the person is of legal age, these can also be used for verification. It can be carried of by carrying cards like Aadhaar, passport, ration card etc.
- Bank account details- If applicable payment of the fees online using the account details.
- Caste certificate (for applicants from the reserved category applicants).
