Eligibility:

- Selection is made according to qualification of the entrance test (usually a bachelors degree in commerce or a related subject).
- The bachelor’s degree pass out candidates with 45% marks or more in aggregate are considered eligible for open category students. In case of reserved category students, relaxation in minimum marks is given by 5%.
- Apart from graduation marks certain percentage may be taken into account based on performance in entrance tests like CET conducted by respective state government.
- Past work history and especially performance during GD/PI rounds may also be considered if the rounds are arranged as part of the selection process.
- M.Com is a two years post graduation course in commerce at the university level with specializations under it like Accounting, Management, Banking and Finance etc. The eligibility and admission procedure may differ for different specializations.
- In the case of selection, the merit lists are prepared based on the scores obtained in academics, entrance tests (if any), group discussion and personal interview rounds. Categories of seats are distributed on the basis of merit, availability of seat and category.
1. Look for the information on M.Com admissions in the university website or the advertisement. T his usually emerges in the months of May – June.
2. Select the admission notification or link and read all the details carefully regarding the eligibility criteria, dates for admission/entrance test, admission process etc.
3. They should either visit the university website and download the M.Com admission application form or collect it from the university office.
4. Provide all the personal information required in the application – personal information, grades, work history if any, and so on.
5. The necessary documents with the application form – photocopies of certificates, mark-sheets, caste Certificate in case of application under reserved category etc.
6. If applicable pay the application fees online or via demand draft.
7. Please enclose the completed application form together with the documents before the last date at the collection center or the address of the university concerned.
8. Bookmark the university website and frequently visit the merit lists and other admission process-related information pages. Take part in any counselling rounds or interviews if they shortlisted candidates.
9. Pay required college fees once final admission list is released to confirm the provisional admission.
