Best Institutes for Science Students After 12th Exam

Upon reaching the end of the 12th Science stream, the students are provided with the opportunity of picking several research-based higher studies from the well-known institutes and colleges universally. A few good research foundations for science students include the well-established Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) that offer B. Tech and BS degrees in different engineer and science domains via JEE Advanced, the most competitive entrance test. Along with IITs, NITs, IISERs, IISc Bangalore, BITS Pilani and other Institutes of National Importance play the role of the core of the educational system as they provide the best quality technical and science education. Another choice that students may consider is getting a BSc from the top science departments at Delhi University, Xavier Colleges or Loyola College Chennai or doing an Integrated MSc Program in basic sciences from the best institutes, like IISc and IISER.

Indian Institute of Science (IISc)

Indian Institute of Science, (IISc) is a public university for science and research and for higher education located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 1909 the Institute was actively supported by Tata and Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV, Maharaja of Mysore at that time, The Institutes is considered one of the premier and one of the best research and higher education institutions in the country. What differentiates IISc from other institutions is that the priority here is research and that graduate and post-graduate courses are also provided in science, technology and engineering fields. The CSIRO consists around 44 departments grouped into 6 divisions - Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Electrical Sciences, Interdisciplinary Research, Mechanical Sciences, and Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The IISc community consists of around 4000 students of whom nearly 1900 are PhD students, and large a faculty of about 500.
