The Government Engineering College Ajmer or GEC Ajmer is one of the foremost institutions that provide engineering education in the following disciplines: They are as follows; Computer Science & Information Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical and Civil Engineering. The course is slightly different depending on the departments but the basic requirement is that one should have passed 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with minimum 60% marks for the candidates who are applying for Computer Science and IT. For other branches, the candidate must have passed the 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as the subjects of their preference. Accepted examination in all the branches of engineering are JEE Main, REAP, JELET and other entrance examinations in engineering conducted at national or state level.
