For instance, to qualify for MBA program, any graduate from any discipline with at least 50% aggregate mark is eligible. Some important dates: CAT registration ends on 14th Nov 2022 and the examination is to be conducted on 27th Nov 2022, MAT Feb 2023 online registration will commence from 1st Dec 2022, XAT 2023 registration period will be till 30th Nov and exam will be on 8th Jan 2023. It includes qualification in the entrance examination, registration with the colleges, group discussion and interview and the last selection is done on the basis of total scores considering academic profile, performance in the entrance test and interview.
The application process is simple, convenient and rather fast when it is done through the Internet. Students are required to access the official website of JIMS New Delhi at www.jimsindia.org and navigate to the admission section through the link ‘Admissions’. They need to choose the concerned program like BBA, BCA, BA LLB, etc., and then, they must complete the online admission process by filling up the application form and entering their name, marks obtained in the previous examinations, address, phone number, and other details along with the scanned copies of the documents. The payment of the application fees can be made online through credit/debit card/net banking.
For offline admission, the application form is available from the JIMS New Delhi Campus at Rohini or can be downloaded from the JIMS’s website. All the necessary details have to be filled in the application forms and attached with photocopies of the documents required, besides the application fees which have to be paid at the campus office. Candidates wishing to take admission will be required to take an entrance examination to further screen them. This is given depending on the score achieved in the test, prior academic records, or personal interview sessions at this JIMS New Delhi.
Documents Required for Admission in JIMS New Delhi for Different Courses:
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks from any recognized university for a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidate should have valid test scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT and should be able to do Logical Reasoning. Standard of minimum requirements in CAT ercentile will be preferred.
- The next stage, the Personal Interview round, will be scheduled for the shortlisted candidates. Evaluation criteria will include; Academic qualifications, work experience, personal and career goals, Interpersonal skills, Abilities and Interest.
- The decision of the final selection will be made after adding up the total percentage of CAT/XAT/GMAT (65%), academic background (15 %), work exposure (10%) and personal interview (10%).
- There are also seats for candidates with 2 years of experience and for candidates with no experience at all. The basis of selection shall include academic achievement, working experience and an interview test. There is no requirement for a entrance test score for getting through these seats.
- The final merit list will be used in the admission process depending on the availabilities in the PGDM class as well as the laid down admission policies.
