Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre, Jaipur; This college provides many undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and technology streams in different departments. In terms of undergraduate courses, there is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering offered by the Computer Science department of the institute and the candidates who can apply for this course should have passed their 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only. They are JEE Mains, REAP and JET exams which are accepted for admission. Electronics and Communications offers Electronics and Communication Engineering B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering, JEE Mains, REAP scores and 10+2 PCM background eligibility. Information Technology department of this university provides B.Tech in Information Technology where students can get admission after passing JEE Mains, REAP and other state level exams and the requirement of the 10+2 qualification is PCM stream. JECRC has Civil Engineering branch offering B.Tech in Civil Engineering and eligible scores of JEE Mains, REAP, and minimum 10+2 qualification in PCM group.
JECRC Jaipur has laid down the admission process and exam dates for the different B.E./ B.Tech programs for admission in the year 2024. The streams provided in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Civil Engineering exist in the form of B.Tech degree courses. JEE Mains will be conducted during February-March 2024 as one of the premier engineering examinations for admission afterward, REAP and JET will be conducted during April- May 2024. JECRC will start their counseling process from the last week of May 2024 for providing seat Matrix for each discipline by the merit of entrance exams and the process of document verification and fee payment will be done for confirming their admission before the third week of June 2024 before the semester starts in July. There are the general steps as submitting the online application, writing and taking necessary entrance exams, participating in the counseling process, and final admission confirmation after the document verification and checking the eligibility.
JECRC Jaipur Engineering College and Research Centre follows an annual admission process for both online and offline applications to its B.Tech and management courses. To apply for admissions at JECRC, the student has to fill in the online admission form and register on the official website of JECRC which is www.jecrc.ac.in and then click on the admission tab. They are required to apply for a new account, complete every field of the application form and they also have the option of online payment or the offline payment method. In the case of the offline applications, the form is available at the colleges or at the selected centers and can be downloaded from the website as well. Application forms completed and affixed with clear photocopied documents of the necessary documents and demand draft of the application fee should be hand-delivered to the college admission office before the start of the new academic year application period. The institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs in streams of Engineering, Management, Applied Science/Technology, Commerce, and Pharmacy. It has many kinds of programs, proficient teaching staff and it’s equipped with all the necessary facilities for quality learning.
- As for the admissions, they are provided based on the scores in national / state level entrance exams like JEE Main, REAP, etc., otherwise, 12th board results.
- For candidates aspiring to take admission to the institute after clearing JEE Main, the admission procedure is based on the ranks and scores obtained in JEE Main. There are certain general rules about cut-offs which mean that the admissible ranks depend on the number of applicants each year.
- For the 12th board qualified candidates, the admissions are made according to the merit scored in 12th board examination. Minimum aggregate percentage: General category - 60-65% (sometimes it differs for other categories).
- Besides the entrance test scores, marks of the candidate in 10+2 examination are taken into consideration for the purpose of preparing the final merit list where the ratio is 30-50%.
- Additional marks/weightage is provided to subjects like Maths, Physics, Chemistry depending on the performance shown during the 12th class.
- As per the policies of the Rajasthan state, there are reserve and relaxations in cut off for SC, ST, OBC etc categories candidates.
- Candidates qualified in JEE Main are given preference over those, who have qualified in their 12th board examination while allotting the admission.

3. Scan other essential academic documents including 10th and 12th mark sheets, passport size photographs etc., as per the guidelines.
4. Pay the application fee online (through net banking, credit/debit card etc.,) The fee structure and the mode of payments should be clearly mentioned on the portal of the school/college.
5. Complete the application form and make sure to write down the particular application number which has been provided for future usage.
6. The candidate will be automatically redirected to a confirmation page that will generate an email and SMS to confirm submission of the JECRC B.Tech application form.
7. You should always check the admission portal of the university for your application status, the merit list, counselling schedule and other relevant information and be seating for the counselling as per the time slot given to you.
1. The student must pass the national/state level entrance examination, such as JEE Main, REAP, etc. If a student scores well in those examinations, they can directly apply for admission.
2. For admission through JEE Mains: admissions based on the cut-off score, number of seats and admissions are based on Centralized Counselling done by JoSAA/CSAB. Thus, it has become evident that cutoffs fluctuate from year to year.
3. For REAP quota seats – admissions are on the basis of the candidates REAP ranks and the cut-off ranks of participating institute. As with cut-off ranks, they vary depending on the number of seats available, the strength of the applicant pool, etc.
4. They also play a very important role in the admission process While entrance exam scores are an important criterion, qualifying exams marks (Class 12th or equivalent) are also considered. The candidate should have passed in first attempt in the above prescribed examinations and the minimum aggregate percentage of marks required is 60% (55% for SC/ST).
5. Those with numerical scores matching the cutoff mark are invited to attend counseling rounds. Documents are verified and with the consideration of merit list the final distribution of the seats is done. It is therefore clear that the choices filled and the rank of the course determine the branch/category seat that is assigned.
