Karmaveer Kakasaheb Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research, commonly referred as KK Wagh Education Society, is a private institute set up in 1984 in Nashik, Maharashtra. It has approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is recognized by the Maharashtra Government and the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education. It has acquired ‘A’ grade in the latest accreditation process by NAAC.The institute has got ‘A’ grade in the latest accreditation by NAAC. As per the NIRF rankings of 2023, KK Wagh Institute has positioned 151st among all the engineering colleges in India. 

Currently, the institute has a number of degrees that is offered under different fields and at various levels. Some of the most preferred courses are Computer Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering and many others. MHT CET examinations for admission to BTech programmes are conducted in the month of May every year for admission process. The admission process for MTech requires the candidates to clear the GATE exams. In addition to PU CET the institute allows the students to seek admission on the basis of JEE Main and NEET score. It is believed that the admission for the year 2024 will be opened soon. These semester examination are, in general, taken in the November and April months.

KK Wagh Education Society Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. In order to take admission to undergraduate courses such as B.Com students must have completed their 12th standard from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks.

2. For postgraduate programs like MBA, the basic eligibility criteria include Bachelors degree from any recognized university with minimum 50% marks aggregate. 

3. Minimum requirement to apply for B.Ed program is a Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and who are keen to take up teaching profession.

4. For admission in polytechnic diploma programs, the candidate must be a 10th standard pass with 35% overall aggregate marks in mathematics, science, and English.

5. Applicants under short-term skill development programs should have passed a minimum of class X or equivalent examinations from any recognized board.

6. Students, fulfilling the above criteria shall have to appear for an entrance examination and/or interview for the final selection.

Formed in 1960 as a registered society the society is presently managing 13 institutes providing diploma courses, degree and PG level. Some of the popular courses for which students enroll include Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer engineering, Master of Business Administration, Master of Computer Applications, Bachelors of Science and Commerce among others.

It is an autonomous institute with admissions to under graduate programs through MHT CET/JEE Main etc. It provides facilities like library, Hostel, Cafeteria, Wi-Fi, ATM, Indoor Outdoor Sports Complex, Laboratories and others. Scholarships are also awarded.
