Jaipur based Poornima University of Engineering and Technology Jaipur (PUET) is on the list of the top engineering colleges in Rajasthan providing various courses in computer science, electronics, mechanical and aerospace, biotechnology and civil engineering streams. The requirement to pass 10+2 in PCM/PCB is also necessary to get admission in B.Tech courses with specializations in these fields, with at least 50% marks in aggregate. It is available on the basis of scores in state & national level entrance examinations like JEE Mains (minimum 70 percentile rank), REAP (minimum eligibility as per category), and merit in the respective boards for the toppers for direct admission with 75% marks.
PUET also offers M.Tech and MCA programs in all the major specialization in engineering and computer application, the admission to which is granted to the candidate having BLTech/BCA degree based on the discipline. Admission are made through PET-M or commonly known as PUET – Punjab University Entry Test held from third week of May every year. Some key highlights are PET-M application form being available in March, the admit card being available in the first week of May and the result being published in June.
