Rajkiya Engineering College is a state funded engineering college situated in Lucknow in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The college is AICTE approved and is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The college has obtained NAAC Grade A with a CGPA of 3.01 in 2022. In the NIRF Rankings of 2023, Rajkiya Engineering College is placed on the 151 positions among engineering colleges across the India.
It has undergraduate and post graduate course in engineering and technological disciplines which include Engineering and Technology – Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Information Technology. The school year is split by semester system, and there are two semesters in a year. This is in line with our academic calendar that provides for end semester examinations in December and May in every year. One can use this entrance exam UPSEE to apply to B.Tech programs in any college in the state of Uttar Pradesh. A pass in B.E./B.Tech or equivalent examination and GATE score are the basis for admission to M.Tech programs. The applications are normally in February.
