Sai Vidya Institute of Technology (SVIT) Bangalore provides the facility of undergraduates as well as postgraduate courses for multiple fields of Engineering, Management, Computer applications, etc. The extents of eligibility by department and programs also differ. The eligibility criteria for computer science, Information science, Electronics and communication, mechanical and civil engineering are that the candidate must have passed 12th standard and have physics chemistry and mathematics as subjects of study and must have obtained minimum 45% of marks in aggregate. The following are the entrance exams accepted; KCET, COMEDK, JEE Mains, PESSAT,… In order to pursue BBA and MBA degrees, students don’t necessarily have to be from a commerce or management background as they must take exams like KMAT, PGCET, or CUET after their 12th standard. Likewise, for MCA and BCA, the 12th standard Mathematics is compulsory, while there is a condition that students needs to have PGCET, CUET, or KMAT score for admission.
The application process for the 2024 batch admissions for all the UG and PG courses offered by the SVIT Bangalore will be open starting October, 2023. The following is the schedule for some of the competitive entrance exams: KCET: April 18th to 20th, 2023, COMDEK: June 10th, 2023, PGCET: June 17th and 18th, 2023, and CUET: May 21st to 31st, 2023. For any of the entrance tests that is accepted, students are allow to apply for the choice course of their preference within the period of October- December 2023. Admission will be given after the entrance examination and previous classroom performance and percentages will also be considered. The new registrations for the next academic session starting from July 2024 are also open for streams that includes Engineering, BBA, MBA, MCA, BCA and many more in SVIT Bangalore.
