RCOEM is one of the reputed engineering and management college which is situated in Nagpur Maharashtra it is an autonomous institution. RCOEM was set up in the year 1984 and is approved by AICTE and is also an affiliated college under the Government of Maharashtra. The college has been accredited by NAAC and presently given Grade A with a CGPA of 3.23 on a of 4 in the scale. The NIRF Rankings 2023 which were declared recently show that RCOEM stands at the 80th position in the list of engineering colleges in the country.  

RCOEM has undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD level of academic programs in various fields of engineering and technology such as computer science & information technology, electronics & telecommunication, mechanical, civil, chemical, MCA and MBA. It has been seen that the total intake capacity in all these courses is more than 1500 students. It is normally in the year between April and May through state and national level entrance examinations. Admission test includes MHTCET, JEE Main, GATE etc For the session 2024 admission exams are in April The last date of admission is up to September end. Employment begins in the mid of July to the early August.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management Eligibility Criteria 2024 (by Departments)

1. Candidates must have cleared their 10 + 2 examination in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the optional subjects being Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject with at least 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST/PwD) in the above mentioned major subjects.

2. Wrote MHT-CET or JEE Mains exams conducted by the state or national examination conducting authority and possessed the valid score produced as per the norms set for different disciplines of the college. 

3. Should be medically fit and character certificate that is moral character required for an engineering profession and other documents that would be certified as per the university requirements for admission.

4. The admission can be sought under a category like, for instance, those with a valid score card of national/ state level entrance tests for different programs as per availability of seat as per norms.

5. The students who have passed the certified equivalent 12th standard or any other equivalent examination for the NRI/PIO/Foreign students can directly apply to the college by fulfilling all the other eligibility criteria as per the norms of the university. 

6. Admissions into the first year are done through the central admission process under the state government’s control and criteria that include merit, reserves, and program preferences as filled by the student in the assessment forms.

RCOEM is an engineering college in Nagpur, Maharashtra which is affiliated to Rashtrasants Tulsibaug and offers Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate courses in various disciplines of engineering. RCOEM is a constituted university institute affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University and has been accredited by NAAC with grade ‘A’.
