Sinhgad college of Science is a recognized science college of the University of Pune, situated in Pune city of Maharashtra state. It was established in 2004, has approval from the University Grants Commission, recognition of the Maharashtra State Government and holds NAAC accreditation ‘A’. It ranked 48th NIRF India Rankings 2023 in among colleges and also ranked in 81st in Engineering colleges Ranking.
This college provides only graduate and postgraduate courses in various disciplines of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, computer science and Information Technology. Some of the most taken courses by the undergraduate include; BSc, BCA and BCS. Masters degrees include M.Sc, M.CA and M.CS. They are given at the end of each semester in October and march respectively. The admission process for the batches starting in the academic year 2024 will begin in May 2023. The admission process can be completed online on the official website, with the admission being merit-based.
