Sir Chhotu Ram Institute of Engineering and Technology (SCRIET) is one of the best engineering college situated at Murthal, Sonipat, Haryana. It was set up in 2006 and is aided by AICTE, with an affiliation to Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology. UGC has recognised it under section 2(f) & 12(b) of UGC Act It has been accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC by a CGPA of 3.31. As per the NIRF ranking 2023 which was declared recently, SCRIET has been placed at 151 in the list of all the Engineering colleges across India.
SCRIET provides under graduate B.Tech Programs in 7 streams: –Computer Science and Engineering Electronics & Communication Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering Printing & Packaging Technology Food Technology. The admission process to these courses is based on the counseling of JEE Main. To enhance its reach, the institute also provides lateral entry for diploma holders in the B.Tech programmes. Lateral entry entrance examination will take place on 15th May 2023. The application process for entrance to academic year 2024 will commence in March, 2024.
