St Teresa’s College (Autonomous) at Ernakulam was established in 1925 which offers the Undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Arts, Science & Commerce streams. The arts departments consist of economics, English, Hindi, history, mathematics, political science, psychology sociology and Malayalam. Science streams include Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Home Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology. Commerce and management faculties comprise BCOM, BBA, MCOM, MASTER OF ARTS IN ECONOMICS, MSc computer science. Admission to most of the UG programs requires a pass in Plus Two or equivalent with some specific subjects for certain programs, for instance science stream students should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics subjects among others. The qualifying examinations accepted by the course are Higher secondary examination of Kerala, Central board of secondary education, international school certificate education, national institute of open schooling and others state boards.

The interested candidates can enroll them in the various programs like BA, BSc, BCom, MA, MSc, MCom etc offered by the University through the website www.teresas.ac.in. In the ‘Admissions’ section of the website, learners can find the link to the online application, entry requirements, deadlines and information regarding the process and requirements of admission. As for the application of the services provided by the portal, the students need to create an account by submitting some of their personal information. They then complete the application process by providing their academic ratings, submitting documents, and processing application fee through the system. They include merit, community basis, and through entrance tests, although the university seeks and admits students who are members of the various communities. These students can also come to the college campus and apply through the offline mode by submitting the completed application form along with attested photocopies of the marksheets and any other documents to the Administrative Office. In order to help students, the college provides an admission helpdesk and there are also counselling sessions.

1. The candidate should have passed the relevant B.Sc part—III examination with 55 % marks under the Credit and Semester System or 50% marks in the old system of examination.
