TKR College of Engineering and Technology is a private engineering college located in Hyderabad, Telangana that is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University, Kakinada. It was established in the year 2002 and since then it has grown over the years to be among the best private engineering colleges in the region. College is recognized from AICTE and the college is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad. It possesses National Assessment and Accreditation Council which has rated it ‘A’. The NIRF rankings for the year 2023 were recently published and according to these, TKR College of Engineering and Technology stands at 65th position among all engineering colleges in India.
Presently the college provides Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in Engineering and Technology in different disciplines such as Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and many more. The annual intake capacity of both the schools is more than 2500 students. Entry into this institution is competitive and is conducted in April each year through state and nationwide exams. The end of odd semester is in the mid of October- November while the even semester ends in the mid of April – May. The overall performance is announced within a month from the time of the exams.

1. The candidate should have cleared the 10+2 standard or its equivalent examination with main subjects as physics, chemistry and mathematics and should have secured an average of 50% marks.
2. For Under Graduate programs B.Tech candidates must have passed 10+2 / CBSE/ICSE / equivalents with 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
3. For M.Tech programs, the candidate should possess the B.E./B.Tech degree from a recognized University or any other equivalent qualification as recognized by the concerned university.Must have completed the technical degree in the requisite specialization from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST category).
4. After MBA programme, the graduates in any field can get admission. The candidates should have obtained, at least, 50% of the aggregate marks in their graduation level Examination, in case of SC/ST, the percentage required is 45%.
5. For admission to MCA program one must have completed a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Applications / Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics as one of the optional subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
