Among the faculties, UGI Allahabad presents a list of specializations for students. Its application forms can be obtained online or offline by May of the year 2024. There are also numerous scholarship opportunities available for Higher education. Many exams include JEE Mains, UPSEE, CAT, MAT, ATMA, CLAT etc., which have entrance test dates falling between Dec 2023 to June 2024.
1. Application Form- UGI Allahabad’s application form is usually available from the April-May period of the year, 2023 in this context. It will be possible to download it from the university website or get it from the university campus if you are not able to apply online.
2. Eligibility Criteria- For the power plant job at UGI Allahabad, one should have completed their graduation and should have the minimum percentage as per the course. However, in some courses, the addicts are also restricted by age limits as well as the upper age limit.
3. Entrance Exams- Like most of the universities and colleges of India, getting admission in most of the courses offered by UGI Allahabad requires passing an entrance examination. The University accepts students who have completed their high school and passed one of the common tests like the University’s own University Entrance Test (UET), Allahabad University Entrance Test (AUET) or from any National/State level test.
4. Selection Process- The shortlisting is done based on the performance that is done in the entrance examinations. After that selection will be done by the course they are taking, marks obtained in test and interview session. The merit list is further prepared and is made available in June / July 2023.
- Merit in the qualifying examination (likely 12th boards): The candidates are short-listed on the basis of their marks/rank in the 12th board examinations and Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Mathematics subjects. The documents and qualifications required for registration also vary depending on the category of admission.
- Entrance exam: The candidates also have to write entrance tests such as UPSEE which is the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination. These exams are taken into consideration for the selection purposes, although performance in them is not compulsory. Certain positions could be actually won through testing alone.
- Counseling/interview: At this stage, the candidates who have been selected through merit lists have to sit for counseling that involves document authentication, medical examinations, and interviews before admission.
