VJIM Overview Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM) is one of the premier B-Schools located in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. Some of the major functional department of VJIM are Marketing, Financial, Human Resources, Operations, Information Technology & Systems. This flagship 2-year full-time PGDM program admits students with a bachelors degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. The CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT test scores are mandatory for applicants who want to get admitted to this course. The other master’s level programs in offer are PGDM Marketing, PGDM Banking & Financial Services, PGDM Business Analytics which also have minimum criteria for admission as a bachelor’s degree and valid scores in CAT or Institute level test. The experience needed ranges from having no experience at all to having as much as 2 years, depending on the kind of program.
The future intake at VJIM for the batch of 2024-26 for all the master’s courses is estimated to start in July-August 2023. The CAT exam is usually held in the last week of November every year and the CAT 2023 is expected to be held in the same month as well. Likewise, XAT 2024 is conducted in the first week of January every year provided there are no changes in the schedule made by the conducting body. The application process will commence after the entrance examination exercise has been carried out. As for the application process, the candidates have to apply through the web or submit the filled application form and payment of the fee. The shortlisted applicants will be required to participate in the selection process through GD/PI or Writing Ability Test based on the department. The merit list of the final selected candidates would be declared in the April-May 2024 for admissions for the new session in June 2024. One is required to complete a registration profile, complete an application form, and submit the necessary documents such as qualification certificates, test scores, work experience documents, and much more They are required to pay an application fee for the course online. The end of the application process involves the submission of the completed application form, other documents that should accompany the application form to the Admissions Office before the stated date. These involve past academic performance, work experience, scores in the standard tests like CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT etc as per the standards of the institute provided the candidate meets the requirements for the course.

Documents Required for Admission in VJIM Hyderabad for Different Courses:
1. Teaching experience – candidates should be with at least 5 years of full time as a teacher in a recognized medical college. This ensures they have adequate classroom and instructional practice prior to assuming the position.
2. Publications – The candidate should have at least three research papers published in indexed outlets of his/her candidate’s work in terms of first author or corresponding author. This shows their research and writing skills as well as analysis of the relevant information.
3. Publication and presentations – Applicants should have already presented papers in at least two national/international conferences. This demonstrates that authors participate in more extensive academic discourse and networks.
4. Recommendation letter – Head of the Institute should write a letter of recommendation for the respective candidate. This affirms the applicant’s authenticity and fitness for the program via a letter from an official from a senior faculty.
