To be eligible for getting admission into 4-year BE Mechanical Engineering course, the candidate must have passed 12th standard with PCM group and minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL category). Admission to B.E,/B.Tech courses is done through MHT-CET, JEE MAINS and SAT examinations are also considered. The Civil Engineering department offers a 4-year BE program for admission of 12th passed students with PCM subjects securing minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category) in board exams and valid MH-CET, JEE Main, or SAT conducted in 2023.

The online application procedure is quite convenient and the applicants require to enter the option of registration on the portal by providing few essential information about the candidate, upload scanned images of photograph, signature, other required documents such as education certificates etc., and finally have to pay the application fees online. Offline application involves the completion of the application form which the applicants must submit together with the certified photocopies of documents and the application fee to the admission office.

1. MHT-CET score – This is the major criterion based on which the students will be selected and the higher the score, the better the chances. There is a cutoff score for admission and students who get scores above cutoff score in MHT-CET get preference.
2. HSC (Class 12) score – The score you received in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in your High School Certificate examination. Secondary aggregate percentage in these subjects may be expected for some programs/categories, but not for others.
3. Diploma Percentage For Diploma students who are seeking to get admission in engineering colleges for direct entry into 2nd year, their percentage in diploma course is very important.
4. Category - Seats are kept for reserved categories such as; Open/General, OBC, SC, ST as the regulation dictates. It is important to state that the cutoffs and the selection process differ from one category to the other.
5. CAP Rounds – The Government of Maharashtra carries out various CAP rounds in order to admit students for different courses. The seats are allocated on the basis of the MHT-CET scores and the choices made by the students in the rounds in compulsion.
- Admissions are done based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) marks / ranks. This exam has to be written after you complete the 12th standard of your education or after you complete your schooling.
- After the MHT CET exam results are declared, individuals can fill up admission form of ZCOER Pune before the last date. The form is usually available on their website and once completed, the information is processed and used for decision making.
- Apart from the form, the candidate needs to attach photocopies of the 10 th & 12 th mark sheets, MHT CET score card, caste certificate if any, & other documents required as per the form.
- Tuition fee for the course is approximately Rs. 1000 which can be deposited online or through Demand Draft.
- After the completion of your CET and based on your CET scores, preferences regarding branch, and category etc., you will be seat allotted for a BE branch in ZCOER Pune if you qualify the cutoffs in the counseling process.
- Maharashtra state CET score- This is basic qualifying criteria. This is in line with the school’s policy of ranking students depending on their CET scores and merit.
- Marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects of 12th standard examination – If the candidate has equal CET scores, the marks obtained in the subjects of class 12th standard examination may be considered.
- Reservation - It means that the college provides certain percentage of seats for those students who fall under some special categories such as SC, ST, OBC etc. There may be certain concessions in terms of the eligibility norms for such categories of students.
- Entrance exam - There should be entrance exam conducted by the institute itself if the need arises and admission can be given on this basis.
