The Advanced Certificate in 3D Animation is a professional based, one year program designed to give students additional skills in 3D modeling, texturing, animating, and visual effects and rendering using software packages such as Maya, 3ds Max. It exposes students to intensive practical training in the major areas of focus to produce highly qualified 3D animation professional graduates to fit the industry in the media and entertainment sectors.
To enter in this Advanced Certificate in 3D Animation program you need to pass one of the following tests – Foundation Course in Art & Design from NIFT / UCEED from IIT Bombay, CEED from IIT Guwahati and IIT Delhi /NID DAT / NATA / any state or national level aptitude test in fine arts/applied arts/architecture. In addition, students possessing a Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or applied arts can seek direct admission to the program.
