Home Economics is the course name of an undergraduate level program that is offered to students in the Bachelor of Arts (BA) category and is designed with subjects based on the home and family. It takes three years to complete and is available as a full time and part time course in many different colleges and universities. The subjects taught in curriculum are nutrition, textiles, home management, food science, household economics, family relation, consumer education.

1. Candidate should have passed in 10+2 examination in any stream from any recognized board with not less than 50% marks.
2. There is no bar for particular course so student from arts, science or commerce stream can go for it.
3. There are no rules relating to age that can bar a prospective student from gaining admission into the school. : Both new entries to the organization and the old hands may submit applications.
4. For the students belonging to the reserved category, the pass percentage is at 45% minimum.
5. English should be one of the subjects in 10+2 level English I think should be one of the subjects that are taught to students at the level of 10 + 2.
