The Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Policy and Administration is an undergraduate degree completed in three years This program is designed to equip the students with knowledge and understanding of public administration, policymaking, government functioning, political science, economics, and social welfare. The offered curriculum offers both theoretical and professional instruction to equip the students for professional functions in public service, administration, policy planning, and research. These are political science, administration, economics, governance, policies, social welfare, policy research, policy analysis, research methods and statistics.
UGAT, CUCET, and state level entrance exams are the accepted form of qualification for admission in BA Public Policy and Administration across universities. There are also some institutes which also provide admission based on the score obtained in the 12th board examination. Other tests like TISSNET, IGNOU OPENMAT, BHU UET are also considered if a student wants to have specialization through options and switch over to lateral programs.
