BBA (Accounting) is an undergraduate 3-year full time program that aims to provide a basic understanding of different managerial and accounting theories. The course prepares students in accounting, auditing taxation, cost and management accounting, business law, economics, statistics, finance. The BBA (Accounting) program spans three years, comprised of six semesters.
The entrance tests that are accepted for BBA (Accounting) course are CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA and the state level test such as MHCET, TANCET. Some of the institute may conduct their own written test required for BBA admission. Good performance in 12th board exams particularly in Accountancy Mathematics and subjects of Economics Statistics and Business Studies is also mandatory at many colleges to apply for BBA (Accounting).

1. A minimum of 10+2 pass in any discipline in Science, Commerce, Arts stream with at least 50% marks aggregate.
2. Mathematics is mandatory in 10+2 as most of the colleges take admission on the basis of marks obtained in this subject. Some colleges require statistics.
3. English language is mandatory in 10+2 for admission to most of the colleges across India.
4. There are no age requirements to get admission into this course. It is open to candidates who have completed their 10+2 and even for the working professional.
5. For some universities, CUET/University examinations might be necessary for admissions to the university.
6. There are some institutes which might prefer the candidates having work experience in accounting field during admission.
