BBA Digital Marketing is an Undergraduate program that spans three years and is designed to prepare students to become full-fledged digital marketers, covering areas such as marketing, advertising, social media marketing, search engine marketing, and other related fields. It comprises of business subjects and focus areas like accounting, finance, and management in addition to web analytics, email marketing, mobile marketing, online reputation management among others. This full time course is spread over 6 semesters and has the internships option in media agencies, consultancy or corporate digital marketing departments.
The entrance tests for admission to the BBA (Digital Marketing) course are general management entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT and state level tests. A number of the colleges also look at the score cards of class 12th while making admissions along with the performance in the concerned entrance test. Some institutes provide direct admission considering the 12th standard marks but taking an entrance examination increases the possibility to get through the premium institutes. Experience, previous academic standing, and performancer in personal interviews are also used in decision making in the selection process. Requiring conversant English is also an essential criterion since the program and teaching methods will be in English.
