BBA Marketing is one of the undergraduate programs, studying marketing and all its related aspects. This is a 3-year full-time course that aims at offering the students full knowledge on marketing research, consumer behavior, brand management and control, advertising, sales management, retail management, and international marketing among others. The curriculum is a combination of what is referred to as ‘marketing concepts’ and ‘marketing cases,’ which include both theoretical and applied assignments so as to equip the students with knowledge and experience necessary for the marketing profession. 1. Requirement is that the candidate has passed class 12th or equivalent from any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Applicants can apply through university website by filling online application form and paying application fees.
2. Short-listed candidates need to write the university entrance test which consists of objective type questions that the correct answers are assessed for numeracy, reasoning, general knowledge in addition to the language skills.
3. Based on entrance exam scores and 10+2 marks, provisional merit list is prepared. Prospectus will involve processing the admission forms, collecting required documents, and paying allocated fees.
4. Program duration is 3 years divided into 6 semesters. Courses comprise core curriculum which includes Consumer Behavior, Brand Management, Advertising and Sales Management along with managerial courses.
5. Internship in marketing domain is compulsory after 4th semester. (The culmination of the program is a submission of the marketing project report in the last semester.)
