BBA in Tourism is an undergraduate degree in business management that focuses on the tourism and hospitality industry. This course takes three years and includes subjects like tourism management principles, travel agency operations, airline management, tourism marketing, hospitality laws and regulations, food production, hotel administration, event management and many more in order to provide students with insights about the tourism industry environment and preparing them for managerial positions in travel companies, hotels, event management firms, tourist destinations and government tourism departments.
The BBA Tourism program normally takes 3 years to complete and is made up of six semesters. The entrance tests accepted for admission to BBA Tourism course include CAT, MAT, XAT, ATMA, CMAT, GMAT, NPAT and state level entrance tests. There are some colleges that provide direct admission depending on the percentage obtained by the candidate in Class 12 examination.
