B.Com Information Technology is an undergraduate degree program that gives information on information technology, business management, and commerce. The information technology course is offered for three years and the student is exposed to units such as database management, computer networking, programming languages, accounting, marketing and finance among others. Business management enables students to use IT skills in decision making and administration of information systems in organizations.
Examinations accepted for B.Com (IT) admission include Pearson National Level Admission Test (NPAT), CUET – Central Universities Common Entrance Test, CUCET – Central Universities Common Entrance Test, state level examinations conducted by the universities/institutes of the concerned state/ territory. It is usually done in the period of April – May each year. May-July is the time for exams and then the counselling procedure takes place in the months of Jul- Aug.
