The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Investment Management is an undergraduate program that takes span of 3 academic years to complete and offers training on various areas of investment management and imparts skills that are essential to become an investment analyst or an investment manager. Some of the subjects are accounting, economics, investment, portfolio, security analysis and stock markets, etc. In these subjects, students study the theory and initiation of choosing good investment opportunities, managing investment portfolios, analyzing financial markets and companies for making sound investment decisions.
To join B.Com Investment Management course, the student should have passed standard 12th from the recognized board having subjects like Accountancy, Business studies and Economics. Acceptable test scores and exams differ from one college to the other and some of the national level tests include CUET, SET among others while others have their college tests. Some of the premier institutes such as Christ University, Symbiosis, and IIM Indore admit the students based on the scores achieved in the entrance test conducted by them and then take them through group discussion and personal interview to finally select the best students for the program.

5. XAT – Xavier Aptitude Test is conducted every year for admission to XLRI, Jamshedpur’s Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Human Resource Management and Business Management.
