B.Com (Statistics) is an undergraduate program in Commerce, which enables the students to gain a knowledge on statistics and other related business areas, economics, and accounting. It is a full-time program that spans over three years where the students are equipped with knowledge in statistical methods, data analysis, probability, surveys, forecasting, and modeling among other statistical concepts and tools. Business and organization students get to understand how statistics could be used in places of business and organizations.
The entrance exams for which the candidates are eligible for admission to B.Com are CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, and state level exams. Generally, the entrance exams are conducted during February to May of a year. There are important dates which are - CAT: registration process is started in July/ August and exam is held in November, MAT: There are 4 tests held in a year in February, May, September, December respectively.

1. A 10+2 pass or its equivalent from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
2. Mathematics is one of the subjects that are compulsory in 10+2 where most of the colleges require it. Some require statistics also.

4. BHU PET: BHU Postgraduate Entrance Test which is conducted for the admission of the candidates into the post graduate courses offered at Banaras Hindu University including the M.Sc Statistics course.
5. JNUEE: JNU is the abbreviated form of Jawaharlal Nehru University and it provides admission through an entrance exam for courses offered in the university including MA in Economics with specialization in statistics.

1. A candidate must have done 10+2 or equivalent in any stream and should have scored more than 50% in that.
