BCA in Data Science is an undergraduate program of 3 years duration that aims at providing application of computers along with specialization in data science. The subjects taught are programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Data Mining, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization Techniques, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Database Management, Statistics, Optimisation Techniques, Data Warehousing and others.
The entrance tests accepted for admission in BCA (Data Science) in the reputed colleges are CUET administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), state level tests such as OJEE, WBJEE, KCET, UPSEE and so forth several of the colleges also provide direct admission on the basis of percentage of class XII. This also helps in getting admission and the performance in the competitive examination like JEE Main, SAT, ACT. Some colleges have a qualifying test of their own while the others offer admission based on merit calculated from previous records. Therefore, there are many Channels through which one can enter the BCA Data Science degree program after 12th.

1. Minimum education required is 10+2 with maths. Changes need to be made to only pass this class if 50% of the aggregate of marks is secured.

1. Minimum 50% marks, the applicant must have appeared 10+2 or equivalent examination from any stream and board recognized by the government. We consider this opportunity for students to apply and appear in their 10+2 exams.

5. Indian institutes of technical education consider International Students who have already earned their 12th-grade or equivalent degree from any abroad education board in their BCA Data Science program as well.
