Landscape is an Undergraduate (UG) design course offered to candidates who want to study the principles of landscape architecture and environmental planning. The complete duration of B.Des Landscape is 4 years which is further distributed into 8 semesters. The curriculum offers training in fields such as site planning, landscape design methods, landscape construction, planting design, designs in the environment, GIS and regional planning.
The entrance test accepted for admission to B.Des Landscape programs are: NATA, CEED, UCEED, NID DAT, and some institute like SPA Delhi also considers the class 12th score for admission. Very limited number of colleges has their own test like Medical, Engineering, Law, PG. It is mandatory for the candidates to have passed their 10+2 in any stream to be appearing for these entrance tests for the B.Des Landscape program.

1. This should be achieved from a recognized board of education and the candidate should have an aggregate of 50% in class 10+2 or its equivalent.
2. It could have been done after completing 10+2 by studying Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
3. Candidates will have to qualify the national or state level design entrance examinations such as NID / CEED.
4. The Diploma in Landscape Architecture graduates may also apply for admission through lateral entry into second year.
5. Students seeking admission will be required to pass an aptitude test to sit for an interview conducted by the instituting offering the programme.
6. Proficiency in the English language is a requirement for any applicant hailing from a non-English speaking country.
