B.Des Transdisciplinary is an undergraduate level design course that acquaints the students with design fundamentals and traditions of technology and arts, along with incorporating ideas from both arts and science fields. The general time for completion of the B.Des (Transdisciplinary) is 4 years which are further split into 8 semesters. It comprises of general forms of design, art’s facet, drama, music, movies, writing, minds, cultures as well as key and minor activities.
The entrance exams UCEED, NIFT, NID DAT Prelims, PAEE, MIT IDAT, Srishti Institute entrance exam and other national and state level design entrance exams are accepted for admission to the B.Des (Transdisciplinary). For getting admission in BDes programme, performance in 10+2 exams especially in creative subjects and basic designing aptitude as per entrance examination results are considered as admission criteria for this programme.

1. This course requires the candidate to have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% total marks.
2. The candidate should have passed in the entrance exams like UCEED, NID DAT, NIFT, CEED or Test conducted by the particular institutes.
3. For lateral entry in 2nd year, pass in three year diploma from any institute in design/applied arts recognized by the university.
