The Bachelor of Graphics & Animation Design is an undergraduate program that offers education on different aspects of graphics, animation as well as graphics arts and techniques. It is intended that through completion of this course, the students will have good understanding as well as working knowledge in 2D & 3D animation, visual effects, multimedia, web and graphic designs. The Admission criteria for the program Bachelor of Graphics & Animation Design requires candidate to qualify the 12th or equivalent examination in any stream with 50% marks aggregate. Different institutes that offer this bachelor program allow students to use national level design or animation entrance exams score cards: UCEED, NID DAT, NIFT DAT, CEED. In addition to this, many colleges also take into consideration the marks obtained in class 12, and also conduct their own entrance examination at their own level and also interview or portfolio review to offer admission.

1. 10+2 passed in any stream (Science, Commerce, Arts) with minimum marks of pass in the board recognized by University Grant Commission.
2. For getting admission in colleges of their preference, one needs at least 60-70% marks in 10+2 along with passing score in entrance exam.
3. While there are some colleges that set their own entrance examinations, others admit students based on scores from national level exams.
4. Coursework of the candidate must contain unique and appropriate portfolio that can be presented during admission.
5. During the admission process students are aptitude in designing, drawing and sketching faculties.
6. There is a close check on the English communication & writing skills by means of personal interview during the reputed design colleges.
