B.Sc in Animation is an undergraduate program which aims at offering base in the subject of animation. This course takes 3 years to complete and equips students with knowledge and practical skills in 2D animation, 3D animation, visual effects, video editing, graphic design. Since the students are trained intensely with software tools such as Maya, Blender, After Effects, Photoshop every semester.
The entrance exam accepted for admission in B.Sc Animation are the state or national level exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, NIFT, CEED, NID. Institutes vary through some of them admitting students based on the class 12th percentage while others admitting students by setting their own qualifying examinations. Another requirement that a student has to go through during admission process is portfolio submission with the view of demonstrating creativity in areas of interest to courses offered.

1. Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from any stream Science, Commerce, Arts stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized board.
2. Few colleges require you to go through an entrance exam like UCEED/CEED for admission into their colleges.

5. Pearl academy exam – check on the aptitude to create through psychometric test, speaking skills through extempore, group dynamics through GD, visualization skills through visual production test.
