Animation, Game Designing, and Development, B.Sc. is an undergraduate program of three years duration that offers a wide spectrum of knowledge about animation, graphics, games, designing, and development. Mainly, it builds the knowledge in 2D and 3D animation, visual effects, game engines, level & environment design, game testing, and project management. It is as thus expected that students learn software such as Maya, Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine. Students then engage in projects to develop games for different platforms including mobiles, PC.
The minimum requirements that a candidates must possess in order to pursue B.Sc. Animation degree can be taken after 10 + 2 or any other equivalent education in any stream with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. While some institutes offer admission to B.Tech through National/State level UGAT like UGAT, SAAT, SET, SLAT, SITEEE, other institutes offer Direct Admission on the basis of 10+2 standard.

1. Science/ Commerce/ Arts stream pass in 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
2. For reserved category students, the percentage of marks in 10+2 shall be 45% aggregate marks.
3. English is one of the compulsory subjects in 10+2 as far as few colleges are concerned.
4. Drawing, sketching skills are also desirable with at least basic knowledge of it, as some institutes may prefer candidates with such skills.
