Computer Animation being a B.Sc course comprises of 3 years of education that covers various domains of computer animation and visual impacts. Some of the topics addressed in this course include modeling in 2D and 3D, character creation, storytelling in images, texturing, illumination, the camera and editing, among others. It is easy for the students to learn about the leading animation and modeling software such as Maya, Blender, ZBrush and other programming languages.

The most widely known and therefore acceptable standard entrance tests for joining B.Sc. Computer Animation program are there national/state level exam like JEE Mains Paper 2, UCEED, NATA or their own university level tests. BSc Computer Animation Course Eligibility

1. pass in 10+2 examination in Science, Commerce or Arts section with minimum 50% marks from any recognized board.  

2. Any student enrolled with the institute can join after passing 12th standard examination. It also have no specific prerequisites with regard to the main subjects to be completed in 12th grade.

3. There are institutes where students are required to pass entrance examinations and then have to go for interviews to gain admission.  

4. Special preferences should be given to those candidates who are creative, have experience in drawing, and have knowledge in computer tools and software.

5. Having a portfolio of creative pieces makes the candidature stronger when dealing with the selection.

6. English language is mandatory because most of the study material is provided in English language only.

BSc Computer Animation Entrance Exams

1. Drawing: This test in UCEED - Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design assesses the candidate’s ability in drawing, creativity and visual perception skills. 

2. NID DAT – National Institute of Design Design Aptitude Test assesses the skill and aptitude in creative designing.

3. CEED – Common Entrance Examination for Design was devised to assess visual perception skills, problem solving abilities, and drawing ability.

4. NIFT – National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Exam evaluates Graphic and Artistic talents (GAT) and Communication skills (CAT) through drawing test.

1. Their first criterion is to check the eligibility of the students based on the grades and subjects in school. 

2. It is also possible to complete the university application form on line and sending necessary documents.
