Ecology is an undergraduate program which is abbreviated as Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Ecology that deals with the scientific study of the interactions between living organisms and their environment. Some of the subjects offered under this program include evolution, population ecology, behavioral ecology, and conservation biology. Students are taught all the theoretical knowledge and theoretical skills required to evaluate ecosystems, understand the use of adaptation in nature, identify patterns of biodiversity, and address environmental problems.
The main entrance exams accepted for admission to B.Sc Ecology programs across colleges are: NEET UG Exam, JEE Main, CUCET , MHT CET, Odisha JEE, TS EAMCET and Other state level exams. Some University like Delhi University also gives weightage to class 12 board exam performance for the admission. Besides, some of the colleges provide direct admission through 10+2 scores/percentage and sometimes there are no entrance test necessary.
