BSc Forensic Sciences is an Undergraduate academic degree programme that deals with the use of scientific techniques in crime and law enforcement. This course is a full-time course of three years in which students are taught various subjects which include criminalistics, criminology, forensic chemistry, forensic biology, forensic toxicology, fingerprint analysis, techniques in crime scene investigation and crime laws. The program prepares students to understand and work with the principles and methodologies employed in the collection, identification, and analysis of physical.
The greatest acknowledged entrance test for the admission to B.Sc Forensic Sciences course in different institutions is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics. It is also common for many institutes to give preference to candidates based solely on their marks in 10+2 across boards. Quite a number of colleges have their own entrance tests which are administered to the students. Some of the national level entrance tests accepted for admission to this program includes NEET UG, CUET UG while the state level tests include BHU PET, DU MSc Entrance Test etc.
