B.Tech (Architecture Engineering) is an undergraduate program in engineering that has specialization in designing and constructing architectural structures. The standard period of offering the programme is four years made up of eight semesters. The curriculum offers the course of content knowledge and skill about different faces of architecture such as building design, building science, history of architecture, construction management, urban design, landscape architecture.
The colleges and universities accepting the students for B.Tech Architecture degree offer admission through following entrance tests: JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, NATA, state level test, university level test, private and deemed universities. The normal admission criteria of these entrance tests is that the student must have passed 12th standard in science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects with minimum qualifying percentage.

1. Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination in science stream (PCM) with minimum 60% aggregate marks from any state or central board recognized by Indian council of secondary education.
2. It is mandatory to have passed in any of the architecture entrance examinations like JEE Mains, NATA or any state level entrance examination.
3. For IITs and top NITs – Candidates can get direct admission through Clear JEE Advanced or scoring high in JEE Mains will give a rank/merit basis for admission.
4. For other colleges and universities, pass in their respective entrance exam conducted for B.Arch courses or take admission through 12th standard marks.
5. A medical fitness certificate to show that one is in good health, and with good vision may be required in most colleges.
6. It is rare that colleges hold personal interviews before offering the final admission acceptance.
