Diploma in 3D Animation and Graphics is a Level 5 diploma program which aims at providing advanced knowledge in 3D animation, modeling, texturing, lighting and rendering for the animation and visual effects Industry. In fact the diploma course opens up more areas of study in the field of animation principles and 3D graphics along with visual effects than an undergraduate degree.
Candidates willing to get into the diploma course must have passed their class 12 or equivalent exam from any recognized board. Besides, some institutes admit students on the basis of scores obtained in the national level entrance examinations like JEE Main, CEED, NID, NIFT and UCEED while there are few institutes which conduct their own entrance examination to test the drawing, sketching, creativity and visualization skills of the candidates for admission in the 3D animation course.
