Diploma in Agriculture is a two-year diploma course that helps the student in gaining knowledge about different fields of Agriculture, horticulture, and methods of farming. This curriculum encompasses diverse aspects that relate to soil science, crop production, horticulture, plant pathology, agricultural economics, animal science, biotechnology, and many others that students are taught in classrooms and through practical experience on working agriculture farms, orchards, and other related institutions. It is a course based program whose main aim is to produce human resource suitable for employment in agriculture and related sectors. The course lasts for 2 years including 4 to 6 semesters and the variation depends on the institute providing the course. 1. The minimum requirement is having 10+2 or above equivalence in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics as the subject. All the streams of science can submit their applications.
