Diploma in Game Design & Integration is a one and two year diploma level program designed on fundamental skills involved in the design, development and integration of games. Additional specifics about the curriculum include training in game engines, programming languages, game art & animation, level & environment design, game testing & project management. Students are trained in Conceptualization, Planning, Creating and Developing two and three dimensional games for Mobiles, Consoles and Personal Computers.
The degree awarding program known as Diploma in Game Design can take 1 year if one comes from STEM, otherwise, it takes 2 years. Some of the institutes/universities have direct entry exams; they are state level diploma entrance tests, national level tests like JEE Main, university conducted tests and qualifying exams scores in 12th board like PCM/PCB scores or merit based on 12th aggregate percentage.
