Industrial Toxicology diploma is a one-year diploma level course which offers training in the field of toxic chemicals that are used in different industries and the correct way of dealing. Occupational health and industrial hygiene along with identification, assessment and control of health risks from toxic agents at working place is taught to the students. Some of the areas of study you are likely to encounter in the program are principles of toxicology, environmental toxicology, analytical toxicology, occupational diseases, epidemiology, and risk assessment.

The basic qualification required for one to entered into Diploma in Industrial Toxicology course is 10+2 pass or equivalent examination from any leading board. There are certain institutes that admit students strictly on merit obtained in the qualifying examination while there are some other institutes that undertake their own written examination. Diploma in Industrial Toxicology Course Eligibility

1. Candidate must have completed the 10+2 exam in science stream (PCM/PCB) from any recognised board with minimum 50% cumulative percentage. 

2. Other applicants who also are eligible to apply for the course include the students who have completed 10+3 years of study in the science stream.

3. ITI passed students in chemical/mechanical/electrical trade and those who have completed ITI in any related trade can also apply for diploma course.

4. The important thing to note is that there is no fixed age limit when it comes to admission for the diploma in industrial toxicology course.

5. Another indicator of eligibility for the course is the students who are currently sitting for their 10+2 or equivalent examination.

1. JAM: IIT conduct Joint Admission test for MSc admissions including Industrial Toxicology. 

2. GPAT: GATE-Pharmacy for admissions to the MPharm and diploma courses offered in the pharmacy colleges across the nation by NTA

3. CUCET: CUCET undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and other courses admission test for the central universities

4. Institute level exams: Carried out by the individual institutes that offer Industrial Toxicology diploma for admission based on 10+2 marks.
